Robert Vincent Baird was born June 3, 1922 to Vincent Hunter and Dorothy Mae Green Baird. He died Nov. 10, 1944 and is buried in Lorraine American Cemetery, St. Avold, France.

Sgt. Baird served in World War II with the U.S. Army 535th Tank Battalion and died in France in the service of his country and was awarded the Purple Heart.

Ralph Robert Baker was born Sept. 10, 1922 to Robert James and Mary Jane Baker. He died Feb. 25, 1945 and is buried in Sunnyside Cemetery, Milton, IA.

Cpl. Baker served in World War II with the U.S. Marine Corps Headquarters Company,2nd Paratroopers Battalion and Company F, 5th Division, 27th Regiment. He was KIA on Iowa Jima in the service of his country.

Loren Joseph “Joe" Barker was born Aug. 23, 1921 to Joseph Manchester and Iva Belle Keck Barker. He died Dec. 7, 1941 and is buried at the USS Arizona Memorial, Honolulu, Hawaii.

Coxswain Barker served in World War II aboard the USS Arizona (BB-39) and was MIA/KIA in Pearl Harbor, Hawaii.

Clark Robert Bartholomew was born Apr. 24, 1921 to Ezra and Stella McGowan Bartholomew. He died June 16, 1986 and is buried in Ebenezer Cemetery, Walnut Township, Madison County, IA.

Clark served in World War II with the U.S. Navy.
