Robert Dudley Woods was born Dec. 26, 1921 to Allen H. and Vera Dudley Woods. He died Apr. 16, 1945 and is memorialized at the Courts of the Missing, Court 2, Honolulu Memorial, Honolulu, Hawaii.
Petty Officer Woods served in World War II with the U.S. Navy aboard the USS Pringle (DD-477) and was MIA/KIA when that vessel was sunk by the enemy off Okinawa. He was awarded the Purple Heart.
