Joel Cahow Zander was born July 31, 1917 to Erick A. and Nellie Cahow Zander. He died Oct. 2, 2002 and is buried in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City, NV.

Petty Officer Zander served in World War II with the U.S. Naval Air Corps aboard the USS Currituck (AV-7) in the Luzon and Leyte campaigns.

Lawrence Keith “Larry” Zeliadt was born Aug. 26, 1920 to Ivan Elmer and Vivian Grace Fry Zeliadt. He died Oct. 3, 1944 and is buried in Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery, Des Moines, IA.

Lt. Zeliadt served in World War II with the U.S. Army Air Corps and died in a plane crash at Minter Field, CA. He was married to Betty Louise Ikerd Zeliadt.

Clyde Willis Zimmerman was born June 25, 1916 to George and Carrie Keltner Zimmerman. He died Dec. 12, 1997.

Pvt. Zimmerman served in World War II with the U.S. Army Air Corps as an aerial photographer, based in England for 18 months.

Howard Keltner “Dick" Zimmerman was born Apr. 27. 1920 to George and Carrie Keltner Zimmerman. He died May 30, 1986 and is buried in Fairlawn Cemetery, Vandalia, IL.

Lt. Zimmerman served in World War II with the U.S. Army Field Artillery, participating in the Normandy invasion and the fierce fighting at Aachen, Germany, and as an aerial observer and was awarded the Air Medal and Bronze Star.

Marvin James Zimmerman was born Dec. 8, 1915 to Julius J. and Edith Hutchison Zimmerman. He died Dec. 12, 1941.

Ens. Zimmerman served in World War II with the U.S. Naval Air Corps and died when his plane crashed in a training accident in GA.
