John Prehm, Jr. was born Sept. 25, 1924 to John (Sr.) and Beatrice Conklin Prehm. He died Oct. 2, 2012 and is buried in Holmes Lutheran Cemetery, Holmes, IA.

John served in World War II with the U.S. Army as a Tank Commander with the 710th Tank Battalion.

Donald Arthur Prescott was born Sept. 24, 1920 to Thomas Amos and Millie Thompson Prescott. He died Sept. 7, 1980 and is buried in Nevada Municipal Cemetery, Nevada, IA.

Sgt. Prescott served in World War II with the U.S. Army Air Corps in the Pacific Theatre of Operations as a mechanic and served 26 months overseas. He was awarded the Pacific Theatre ribbon with two battle stars. He also served in Korea.

Roy Clifford Prescott was born Jan. 10, 1919 to Thomas Amos and Millie Thompson Prescott. He died Aug. 17, 2000 and is buried in Nevada Municipal Cemetery, Nevada, IA.

Pvt. Prescott served in World War II with the U.S. Army 168th Infantry, 34th Division and was WIA in Tunisia.

Harold Ellwood Pride was born May 8, 1894 to Lawrence Ellwood “Larry” and Caroline Lillian “Carrie" Chapin Pride. He died Apr. 13, 1988 and is buried in Iowa State University Cemetery, Ames, IA.

Col. Price served in World War II with the U.S. Army in the Military Intelligence Service of the War Department in the states and overseas—principal stations were Washington, Miami; Cairo, Egypt; Kumming and Chungking, China. He was awarded the Royal Order of the Jugo-Slav Crown, third degree by King Peter of that government and Cross of Brigadier of our Brigade of George I, citation of the King of Greece. He was also awarded the Legion of Merit with Oak Leaf Cluster and European-African Middle East campaign ribbon. He also served in World War I.
