Sgt. Omundson served in World War II with the U.S. Army 90th, 219th and 519th M.P. Companies.

Lawrence Edwin Omvig was born Dec. 28, 1914 to Albert Christopher and Annie Marie Nielson Omvig. He died Dec. 1973 and is buried in Story City Cemetery, Story City, IA.

Lawrence served in World War II with the U.S. Army 42nd Engineer Battalion.

Donald served in World War II with the U.S. Army Paratroopers in England, Belgium, Luxembourg, France, and Germany.

James Lorelle Opheim was born June 6, 1927 to Julius and Emelia Sime Opheim. He died Apr. 7, 1945 and is memorialized at the Courts of the Missing, Court 1, Honolulu Memorial, Honolulu, Hawaii.

Petty Officer Opheim served in World War II with the U.S. Naval Air Corps aboard the USS Wyndham Bay (CVE-92) and USS Hornet (CV-8). He was MIA/FOD/KIA in an enemy attack in the east China Sea. He was awarded the Purple Heart.

Wallace Stanley Opheim was born Aug. 21, 1923 to Julius and Emelia Sime Opheim. He died Aug. 16, 2009.

Lt. Opheim served in World War II with the U.S. Army Air Corps as a bombardier, stationed with the Eighth Air Force in England. He was awarded the Air Medal with Oak Leaf Cluster.
