Marvin Royce Koele was born Jan. 22, 1920 to Nick and Jeanne Marie Vanden Berg Koele. He died Apr. 8, 1943 and is buried in Hope Cemetery, Hull, IA.

Sgt. Koele served in World War II with the U.S. Army 133rd Infantry, 34th Infantry Division.

Allen Kosters was born July 8, 1919 to Gerrit and Gertrude Brantsen Kosters. He died Oct. 5, 1944 and is buried in West Lawn Cemetery, Orange City, IA.

Sgt. Kosters served in World War II with the U.S. Army Air Corps 347th Bomb Squadron, 99th Bomb Group as a turret gunner on a B-17 bomber and was KIA over Italy. He was awarded the Distinguished Service Cross.

Henry Anthony Kosters was born July 7, 1924 to Gerrit and Gertrude Bronsen Kosters. He died Dec. 18, 1944 and is memorialized at the Walls of the Missing, Manila American Cemetery, Taguig City, Philippines and has a cenotaph in West Lawn Cemetery, Orange City, IA.

Petty Officer Kosters served in World War II with the U.S. Navy aboard the USS Spence (DD-512) which capsized and sank in Typhoon Cobra in Philippine waters. He was MIA/FOD/KIA.
