Robert E. “Cobb” Jacobsen was born Feb. 19, 1927 to Nels and Lillie Mae Hoover Jacobsen. He died Apr. 15, 2011 and is buried in Iowa Veterans Cemetery, Adel, IA.

Sgt. Jacobsen served with the U.S. Army in World War II.

William Claus Jacobsen was born Oct. 18, 1911 to Claus H. and Margaretha Jacobsen. He died Aug. 10, 1947 and is buried in Harlan Cemetery, Harlan, IA. 

Pvt. Jacobsen served with the U.S. Army 815th Engineer Battalion.

Waldo Chris Jensen was born Nov 12, 1908 to Chris and Olga Christensen Jensen. He died Dec. 30, 1941 and is buried in Fort Leavenworth National Cemetery, Fort Leavenworth, KS.

Sgt. Jensen served in World War II with the U.S. Army Air Corps and died in the crash of his Martin B-26 Marauder (40-1475 near Snow Valley, CA.

Arthur Burdick Johnson was born Sept. 29, 1881 to Charles D. and Clementine Burdick Johnson. He died Nov. 23, 1944 and is buried in Manila American Cemetery, Taguig City, Philippines.

Arthur served in World War II with the U.S. Merchant Marines, became a POW and died in prison camp.

Everett Jorgensen was born Sept. 11, 1906 to Peter H. and Mary Julia Rasmussen Jorgensen. He died Apr. 15, 1945 and is buried in Jacksonville Cemetery, Jacksonville, IA.

Pvt. Jorgensen served in World War II with the U.S. Army 130th Infantry, 33rd Division and was KIA on Luzon, Philippine Islands.
