Clarence Francis Ritter was born Apr. 17, 1923 to William E. and Florence G. O’Toole Ritter. He died Mar. 19, 1945 and is memorialized at the Courts of the Missing, Court 1, Honolulu Memorial, Honolulu, Hawaii.

Chief Petty Officer Ritter served in World War II with the U.S. Navy aboard the USS Franklin (CV-13) when that ship was badly damaged by a Japanese air attack, with the loss of over 800 of her crew. He was MIA/FOD/KIA.

Clifford Laverne Roberts was born May 8, 1923. He died Apr. 28, 1944 and is buried in Barker Cemetery, Scotland County, MO.

Petty Officer Roberts served in World War II with the U.S. Navy and died in the service of his country.

Melvin Albert Roehs was born July 5, 1924 to Albert Melvin and Tena Alberta Roehs. He died Aug. 24, 1945 and is memorialized at the Courts of the Missing, Court 1, Honolulu Memorial, Honolulu, Hawaii and has a cenotaph in Walcott Cemetery, Walcott, IA.

Petty Officer Roehs served in World War II with the U.S. Navy Air Corps and was MIA/FOD/KIA in the service of his country. He was awarded the Air Medal.

William Ronald Ross was born June 28, 1926 to William Howard and Pearl Smith Ross. He died Dec. 28, 1944 and is buried in Fairmount Cemetery, Davenport, IA.

Petty Officer Ross served in World War II with the U.S. Navy and died of wounds received in the line of duty.
