Wilmer J. Lackas was born May 6, 1922 to William and Verna E. Lackas. He died Dec. 2, 1944 and is buried in Rock Island National Cemetery, Rock Island, IL.

Lt. Lackas served in World War II with the U.S. Army Air Corps 586th Bomb Squadron, 394th Bomb Group and was KIA over France while serving his country.

John Bannigan Lane was born Aug. 27, 1918 to John W. and Gertrude M. Skelly Lane. He died Dec. 9, 1976 and is buried in Mount Olivet Cemetery, Key West, IA.

Pvt. Lane served in World War II with the U.S. Army.

Marx Maack “Mike” Larkin was born Aug. 19, 1917 to Peter Joseph and Bertha Maack Larkin. He died Apr. 11, 1945 and is buried in Netherlands American Cemetery, Margraten, Netherlands. 

2nd Lt. Larkin served in World War II with the U.S. Army 702nd Tank Battalion, 80th Division. He was KIA and awarded the Bronze Star and Purple Heart with 2 Oak Leaf Clusters.

Paul M. Larsh was born Nov. 15, 1918 to Paul T. and Annabelle Findley Larsh. He died Apr. 18, 1945 and is buried in the National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific, Honolulu, Hawaii.

Sgt. Larsh served in World War II with the U.S. Army Engineers and died in Burma in the service of his country.
