Maj. Palmer served in World War II with the U.S. Army 6th Engineer Special Brigade - HQ as Waterproofing and Recovery Officer. He was awarded the Bronze Star. He also served in Korea.

Robert Clark Pierce was born Dec. 14, 1913 to Charles and Winnie Lulu Rude Pierce. He died Nov. 22, 1942 and is memorialized at the Walls of the Missing, Manila American Cemetery, Taguig City, Philippines.

Cpl. Pierce served in World War II with the U.S. Army Air Corps 7th Material Squadron, 5th Air Base Group and was MIA and became a Japanese POW and died in Cabanatuan Prison Camp, Philippine Islands.

Frank L. Pitt was born July 5, 1900 to Milton Bird and Caroline Jane Gilson Pitt. He died May 5, 1987 and is buried in Magnolia Cemetery, Magnolia, IA.
