MSgt. Moore served in World War II with the U.S. Army Air Corps. He also served in Korea.

Jack E. Moore was born Apr. 25, 1922 to Harold Lee and Mary Bascom Moore. He died July 6, 2003 and is buried in Garner Cemetery, Council Bluffs, IA.

Sgt. Moore served in World War II with the U.S. Army Air Corps.

Alfred Deming “Dem” Mortenson was born May 11, 1914 to Alfred and Kitty Belle Wills Mortenson. He died Jan. 25, 1990. Dem served with the U.S. Army in World War II.

John Stuart Mortenson was born June 22, 1916 to Alfred and Kitty Belle Wills Mortenson. He died Feb. 25, 1944 and is buried in Lorraine American Cemetery and Memorial, Saint Avold, France. 

2nd Lt. Mortenson served in World War II with the U.S. Army Air Corps 739th Bomber Squadron, 454th Bomber Group, Heavy and was the co-pilot of the B-24H “Winged Victory”. He was KIA and awarded the Purple Heart.

Robert Edward Mowrey was born July 13, 1924 to Ray andMinnie Elebrecht Mowrey. He died June 4, 1942, was buried at sea and is memorialized at the Courts of the Missing, Honolulu Memorial, Honolulu, Hawaii.

Pvt. Mowrey served in World War II with the U.S. Marine Corps at the U.S. Naval Air Station, Midway Island and was KIA on Midway Island during a Japanese aerial attack.
