Harold Verne Lathrop was born Sept. 25, 1913 to Ethel Charley and Golda Scott Lathrop. He died Dec. 29, 1944 and is buried in Ardennes American Cemetery, Neupre, Belgium.

Pvt. Lathrop served in World War II with the U.S. Army 18th Infantry Regiment, 1st Infantry Division. He was KIA and awarded the Bronze Star and Purple Heart with Oak Leaf Cluster.
