Marion P. Young was born Sept. 28, 1922 to Conrad O. and Mildred D. Andrews Young. He died Dec. 13, 1944 and is buried in Glendale Cemetery, Des Moines, IA. He was initially buried in USAF Cemetery Leyte #1, Philippine Islands and returned to the U.S. in 1948.

Pvt. Young served in World War II with the U.S. Marine Corps Marine Detachment, USS Nashville (CL-43) and was KIA when the Nashville was struck by a kamikaze off Negros, Philippine Islands.

Raymond Young was born July 11, 1915 to Jerry Peter and Lilly Ruggles Young. He died Oct. 7, 1983 and is buried in Rock Island National Cemetery, Rock Island, IL.

Petty Officer Young served in World War II with the U.S. Navy.
