Gerald Maurice Snethen was born Dec. 21, 1924 to Earl L. and Josie Mae Harter Snethen. he died Nov. 28, 2015 and is buried in Iowa Veterans Cemetery, Adel, IA.

Petty Officer Snethen served in World War II with the U.S. Navy.

Thomas Charles “Tom” Snider was born June 29, 1905 to Tom and Ona Davis Snider. He died Aug. 14, 1948 and is buried in Laurel Hill Cemetery, Des Moines, IA.

Sgt. Snider served in World War II with the U.S. Army 109th Quartermaster Service Company.

Ralph William Snodgrass was born May 29, 1905 to George M. and Susan Laurinda Hoskinson Snodgrass. He die July 2, 1944/FOD Dec. 18, 1946 and is memorialized at the Walls of the Missing, Manila American Cemetery, Taguig City, Philippines and has a cenotaph in Walnut Grove Cemetery, Corning, IA.

Major Snodgrass served in World War II with the U.S. Army Medical Corps and was MIA/KIA/FOD while enroute to the 34th Portable Hospital as a passenger on a U.S. merchant ship which was torpedoed by a Japanese submarine in the Indian Ocean. He was awarded the Purple Heart.
