William Daniel O’Brien was born Nov. 30, 1924 to Daniel and Clara Sheehan O’Brien. He died Dec. 17, 2010 in Los Altos, CA. 

Daniel served in World War II with the U.S. Navy.

Robert William O’Hair was born Feb. 24, 1921 to Margaret Elizabeth and William Patrick O’Hair. He died Nov. 20, 1943 and is memorialized at the Wall of the Missing at Honolulu Memorial, Honolulu, Hawaii.

Pvt. O’Hair served in World War II with the U.S. Marine Corps and was KIA on Tarawa. His body was not recovered.

Raymond Leroy “Buddy” Olive was born Dec. 24, 1920 to Raymond Clair and Zoe Edith Tripp Olive. He died Feb. 4, 1945 and is buried in Henri-Chapelle American Cemetery, Hombourg, Belgium. 

Sgt. Olive served in World War II with the U.S. Army 39th Infantry Regiment, 9th Infantry Division. He was KIA in Germany and awarded the Silver Star and Purple Heart. He participated in campaigns in North Africa, Sicily and Germany.

Richard E. Olive was born about 1917 to Raymond Clair and Zoe Edith Tripp Olive. He became MIA July 10, 1943 and was officially declared dead on July 11, 1944 and is memorialized at the Tablets of the Missing, Sicily Rome American Cemetery, Nettuno, Italy. 

Chief Petty Officer Olive served with the U.S. Navy in World War II aboard the USS Maddox (DD-622). He was awarded the Purple Heart.

Herbert Eskil Olson was born Aug. 28, 1923 to Eskil David and Ellen Olson. He died in 2008.

Herbert served with the U.S. Army in World War II.

John Barry “Jack" O’Neil was born Mar. 2, 1926 to Warren and Agnes Farrington O’Neil. He died Nov. 3, 2008 and is buried in Iowa Veterans Cemetery, Adel, IA.

Jack served with the U.S. Navy in World War II.

Harold Lavonne Osberg was born June 4, 1926 to Edward Theodore and Della Vinetta Norris Osberg. He died Sept. 18, 2015 and is buried in Iowa Veterans Cemetery, Adel, IA

Sgt. Osberg served with the U.S. Marine Corps in World War II and Korea.

Sherman Eugene Oyler was born Mar. 27, 1922 to Sherman and Lenore Jeanette Phelan Oyler. He died May 18, 1945 and is buried in Golden Gate National Cemetery, San Bruno, CA.

Platoon Sgt. Oyler served in World War II with the U.S. Marine Corps 1st Battalion, 27th Marines, 5th Marine Division and was wounded in action on Red Beach Two, Iwo Jima and evacuated to U.S. Naval Hospital 128 in Hawaii where he died of his wounds.
