Petty Officer Jobe served with the U.S. Navy in World War II. He was married to Dorothy Violet Gasperi. Petty Officer Dorothy Jobe also served with the U.S. Navy in World War II. Dorothy was born July 19, 1924 and died June 8, 2008. She is buried in Iowa Veterans Cemetery, Adel, IA.

Capt. Johnson served in World War II with the U.S. Army Air Corps 384th Fighter Squadron, 364th Fighter Group and was MIA/KIA in Germany and awarded the Distinguished Flying Cross, Air Medal with 4 Oak Leaf Clusters and Purple Heart.
