Richard C. Goodman was born Feb. 12, 1926 to Arthur Charles and Clara Maria Brady Goodman. He died Dec. 18, 2016 and is buried in Iowa Veterans Cemetery, Adel, IA.

Petty Officer Goodman served with the U.S. Navy in World War II.

Addison Nelson Gormley was born Aug. 19, 1920 to Nelson B. and Lavenia Gormley. He died Mar.20, 1945 and is buried in Bondurant Cemetery, Bondurant, IA. He was initially buried in USAF Cemetery Guam #2 at Agat, Guam and returned to the U.S. in 1948.

Pvt. Gormley served in World War II with the U.S. Marine Corps, B Company, 1st Battalion, 25th Marines, 4th Marine Division and participated in combat operations on Iwo Jima until wounded in action. He was evacuated to a USN Hospital on Guam where he died of his wounds.
