Robert Edward Gagen was born Sept. 7, 1917 to Joseph P. and Lenora Margaret Gannon Gagen. He died July 14, 1943 and is memorialized at the Walls of the Missing, Manila American Cemetery, Taguig City, Philippines.

1st Lt. Gagen served in World War II with the U.S. Army Air Corps 498th Bomb Squadron, 345th Bomb Group, Medium. He was the Air Medal and Purple Heart.

William Pierce Galleher was born Sept. 21, 1920 to Pierce and Anna Armley Galleher. He died May 6, 1946 and is buried in Laurel Hill Cemetery, Des Moines, IA. William served in World War II with the U.S. Army 168th Infantry Regiment, 34th Division.

John Wilfred Gant was born Nov. 25, 1921 to Everett and India Ford Gant. He died Nov. 7, 1944 and is memorialized at the Courts of the Missing, Court 3, Honolulu Memorial, Honolulu, Hawaii.

Petty Officer Gant served in World War II with the U.S. Navy aboard the USS Albacore (SS-218) which was sunk by a mine off northern Japan. He was MIA/FOD/KIA and awarded the Purple Heart.

Warren H. Garman was born Sept. 30, 1920. He died Feb. 20, 1945 and is buried in Hillcrest Memorial Park Cemetery, Porterville, CA.

Platoon Sergeant Garman served in World War II with the U.S. Marine Corps 5th Tank Battalion, 5th Marine Division and died while in the service of his country.

Oliver Louis Garwick was born Apr. 11, 1921 to Daniel LeRoy and Anna Marie Parker Garwick. He died Nov. 2, 2000 and is buried in Iowa Veterans Cemetery, Adel, IA OR Masonic Cemetery, Des Moines, IA. (conflicting information found)

Petty Officer Garwick served with the U.S. Navy in World War II.

Mark Russell Gates was born July 13, 1915 to Charles H. and Martha Bredimus Gates. He died May 3, 1989 and is buried in Iowa Veterans Cemetery, Adel, IA.

Sgt. Gates served with the U.S. Army in World War II and was awarded the Bronze Star.
