Sgt. Coan served in World War II with the U.S. Army Air Corps 82nd Observation Squadron, 71st Observation Group and died in an aircraft accident near Bass Lake, CA, in the line of duty.

Clarence Junior Cole was born Oct. 15, 1920 to Clarence Theodore and Alberta Lucile Schaal Cole. He died Dec. 3, 1981 and is buried in Arlington National Cemetery, Arlington, VA.
