Harley Scott Wedgbury was born July 22, 1917 to Scott I. and Laura K. Lincoln Wedgbury. He died Apr. 22, 1945 and is buried in Lorraine American Cemetery, St. Avold, France.

Sgt. Wedgbury served in World War II with the U.S. Army 411th Infantry Regiment, 103rd Infantry Division and died of wounds received in action in Germany and was awarded the Bronze Star and Purple Heart with Oak Leaf Cluster.

Wayne Franklin Westphal was born Mar. 9, 1911 to August Frantz and Mattie Maude Page Westphal. He died Feb. 23, 1943 and is buried in Palmer Cemetery, Palmer, IA. 

Cpl. Westphal served with the U.S. Marine Corps in World War II.

Frank B. Williams was born Mar. 29, 1920 to Robert F. and Ella LeRay Butler Williams. He died Aug. 10, 1944 and is buried in Golden Gate National Cemetery, San Bruno, CA. He was initially buried in the USAF Cemetery, Finschaffen No. 2, New Guinea and returned to the states in 1948. 

Pvt. Williams served in World War II with the U.S. Army 503rd Parachute Infantry and was KIA in New Guinea. He was living in Pocahontas, IA at the time of his entry into the armed services.

Donald W. Wolf was born July 2, 1922 to William Joseph and Anastasia Catherine Alig Wolf. He died Oct. 16, 2006 and is buried in Calvary Cemetery, Pocahontas, IA. 

Donald served with the U.S. Army 815th Military Police Company.
