Pvt. Schiphoff served in World War II with the U.S. Army13th Infantry Regiment, 8th Division and died in Normandy, France while serving his country.

John Nicholas Schmitz was born Dec. 25, 1909 to John and Elizabeth Weal Schmitz. He died July 11, 1945 and is buried in Lorraine American Cemetery, Saint Avold, France and has a cenotaph in Calvary Cemetery, Sutherland, IA.

Sgt. Schmitz served in World War II with the U.S. Army 4th Cavalry Reconnaissance Squadron and died in France while in the service of his country.

Harold August Schoelerman was born Apr. 3, 1919 to Frederick Ernest and Amanda Dora Koep Schoelerman. He died Mar 2, 1945 and is buried in Ardennes American Cemetery, Neupre, Belgium.

Lt. Schoelerman served in World War II with the U.S. Army Air Corps 576th Bomber Squadron, 293rd Bomber Group, Heavy and was MIA/KIA in Germany in the service of his country. He was awarded the Air Medal with Oak Leaf Cluster.

Cullen R. Schroder was born Sept. 17, 1925 to Vernon Victor and Dorothy Rae Zeug Schroder. He died Mar. 6, 1945 and is buried in East Lawn Cemetery, Sheldon, IA.

Pvt. Schroder served in World War II with the U.S. Army 309th Infantry, 78th Infantry Division and died of wounds received in action in Germany.
