Kenneth Flint Larson was born Dec. 24, 1915 to Charles A. and Nellie B. Flint Larson. He died Aug. 9, 1942/FOD Aug. 10, 1943 and is memorialized at the Walls of the Missing, Manila American Cemetery, Taguig City, Philippines and in Pleasant View Cemetery, Hartley, IA.

Petty Officer Larson served in World War II with the U.S. Navy aboard the USS Vincennes (CA-44) which was sunk in combat near the Solomon Islands and he was declared MIA/KIA/FOD and awarded the Purple Heart.

Walter John Leitheiser was born May 28, 1903 to John J. and Lizzie Warncke Leitheiser. He died Aug. 1, 1947 and is buried in East Lawn Cemetery, Sheldon, IA. Pvt. Leitheiser served with the U.S. Ordnance Dept. in World War II.

Lloyd William Lund was born Oct. 29, 1922 to Nels H. and Blanche Glass Lund. He died Oct. 20, 1949 and is buried in Galva Township Cemetery East, Galva, IA.

Sgt. Lund served with the U.S. Army Air Corps 343rd Fighter Squadron, 55th Fighter Group, 8th Air Force in World War II.
