Vernon Arthur Goodmanson was born Apr. 15, 1915 to Lewis M. and Bertha Eelers Goodmanson. He died Jan. 7, 1945 and is buried in Luxembourg American Cemetery, Luxembourg.

Sgt. Goodmanson served in World War II with the U.S. Army 502nd Parachute Infantry Regiment, 101st Airborne Division and died of wounds received in action in Bastogne, Belgium and was awarded the Purple Heart with 2 Oak Leaf Clusters.

Donald George Gottertz was born Aug. 26, 1924 to William Jake and Gertrude Hartog Gottertz. He died Jan. 20, 1945 and is buried in East Lawn Cemetery, Sheldon, IA.

Pvt. Gottertz served in World War II with the U.S. Army 290th Infantry, 75th Infantry Division and was KIA in Belgium.
