Donald Ellison “Ellison” VanPelt was born Jan. 6, 1919 to Donald E. and Gertrude Everingham VanPelt. He died Aug. 30, 2004 and is buried in Glenwood Cemetery, Glenwood, IA.

Sgt. VanPelt served in World War II with the U.S. Army Air Corps 883rd Bomb Squadron, 500th Bomb Group.

Thomas Dale Vandershue was born May 23, 1921 to Francis B. and Alberta Deford Vandershue. He died Apr. 9, 1980 and is buried in Willamette National Cemetery, Portland, OR.

Sgt. Vandershue served in World War II with the U.S. Army 168th Infantry, 34th Division and became a German POW.

Clyfton Franklin Vest was born Oct. 29, 1918 to W. Frank and Jessie O. McCrary Vest. He died July 27, 1925 and is buried in Holy Cross Cemetery, Santa Cruz, CA

Capt. Vest served in World War II with the U.S. Army Ordnance Corps.

Keith Evans “Kayo” Vinton was born Dec. 30, 1918 to Ralph Evans and Zula Dale Eckert Vinton. He died Feb. 4 , 2001 and is buried in Blair Cemetery, Blair, NE.

Keith served in World War II with the U.S. Army Air Corps.
