Sgt. Galliher served in World War II with the U.S. Army 168th Infantry, 34th Division and became a German POW.

Donald Arlie Gamble was born Aug. 22, 1922 to Arlie Condon and Florence Evelyn Starr Gamble. He died Oct. 16, 1983 in San Diego, CA.

Donald served in World War II with the U.S. Army 34th Division, 168th and 133rd Infantries.

Elmer Earl Garrett was born May 7, 1918 to Elmer Addison and Ruth A. Timson Garrett. He died Dec. 3, 1944 and is memorialized at the Walls of the Missing, Manila American Cemetery, Taguig City, Philippines. 

2nd Lt. Garrett served as a Fighter Pilot in World War II with the U.S. Army Air Corps 67th Fighter Squadron, 347th Fighter Group and was MIA/KIA off New Guinea. He was awarded the Air Medal and Purple Heart.

Marion Ambrose Garrett II was born Nov. 1, 1924 to Marion and Frances E. Brown Garrett. He died May 21, 1991.

Marion served in World War II with the U.S. Army 104th Quartermaster Depot Company and 305th Infantry in Hawaii and took part in the invasion of Guam.

Ross B. Garrett was born Feb. 1, 1919 to Marion and Frances E. Brown Garrett. He died Sept. 10, 2011 and is buried in Glenwood Cemetery, Glenwood, IA.

Col. Garrett served in World War II with the U.S. Army 168th Infantry, 34th Division in North Africa where he was captured and served 27 months as a POW in Germany. He retired after a 28 year career.
