William Thomas Madison was born Feb. 25, 1921. He died Feb. 3, 1945 and is memorialized at the Walls of the Missing, Manila American Cemetery, Taguig City, Philippines.

Petty Officer Madison served in World War II with the U.S. Navy and was MIA/ KIA when the plane in which he was flying was lost while on a long range offensive reconnaissance flight over the Formosa area. He was awarded the Purple Heart and Distinguished Flying Cross.
