Ray B. Kaple was born Apr. 1, 1925 to Robert D. and Kate Cherry McKee Kaple. He died Mar. 11, 1945 and is buried in the National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific, Honolulu, Hawaii. He was initially buried in the 4th Marine Division Cemetery on Iwo Jima.

Pvt. Kaple served in World War II with the U.S. Marine Corps 25th Marines, 4th Marine Division and was KIA in combat operations on Okinawa. He was awarded the Purple Heart.

Charles Edwin Kellen was born Mar. 13, 1916 to Charles and Etta Mae Surls Kellen. He died Dec. 28, 1971 and is buried in Woodville Cemetery, Waseca, MN.
