Connell George Korb was born Apr. 27, 1917 to John G. and Alma L. Stumpe Korb. He died July 9, 2003.

Connell served with the U.S. Army Air Corps in World War II as a navigator. He flew 15 missions over North Africa before being transferred to the Strategic Air Command in the Pacific where he coordinated air logistics until his discharge in 1945.
