Erwin Carl Schlotfeldt was born Sept. 2, 1912 to H. H. and Sasina Scherff Schlotfeldt. He died June 25, 1982 and is buried in Riverview Cemetery, Rock Rapids, IA.

Erwin served with the U.S. Army in World War II.

Harris Blake Stubbe was born Dec. 25, 1919 to Fred A. and Alta B. Stubbe. He died Feb. 28, 1942 and is memorialized at the Tablets of the Missing, East Coast Memorial, New York, NY.

Petty Officer Stubbe served in World War II with the U.S. Navy aboard the USS Jacob Jones (DD-130) and was MIA/FOD/KIA when that vessel was sunk in a torpedo attack. He was awarded the Purple Heart.
