Dalesford V. (Dale) Grimes was born Jan. 6, 1912 to Forest Brumby and Minnie Kline Grimes. He died Dec. 1, 1924 and is buried in Coal Glen Cemetery, Lucas County, IA.

Lt. Grimes served in World War II with the U.S. Army Air Corps 321st Bomb Squadron, 90th Bomb Group.

George Gerald Grimes was born Dec. 27, 1915 to Forrest Brumby and Minnie Kline Grimes. He died Dec. 11, 1943 and is memorialized at the Tablets of the Missing, Netherlands American Cemetery, Margraten, Netherlands and has a cenotaph in Coal Glen Cemetery, Lucas County, IA.

Lt. Grimes served in World War II with the U.S. Army Air Corps and was MIA/FOD/KIA in the European area and was awarded the Distinguished Flying Cross, Purple Heart and Air Medal.
