Raymond Lee “Ray" Myers was born Mar. 12, 1926 to Joseph William and Ethel M. Moody Myers. He died Feb. 3, 2016.

Ray served in World War II with the U.S. Army Air Corps 872nd Engineer Aviation Battalion in the Asiatic Theatre of Operations as a heavy truck driver and dispatcher assisting in the construction of air strips. He was stationed in Luzon (Leyte), Philippines, and Okinawa, Japan.
