Walter served in World War II with the U.S. Army 27th Division, 72nd Quartermaster Bakery Company.

Julius Harry “Zeke” VanDeVoorde was born Sept. 17, 1923 to Julius and Rachel Vervaeke VanDeVoorde. He died Feb. 23, 2002 and is buried in Evergreen Cemetery, Fairfield, IA.

Capt. VanDeVoorde served with the U.S. Army in World War II. He was awarded the Purple Heart with Oak Leaf Cluster,

Loren M. VanDeVoorde was born June 2, 1924 to Theoplele and Lelia Ware VanDeVoorde. He died Oct. 12, 1987 and is buried in Saint Marys Cemetery, East Moline, IL.

Loren served with the U.S. Army in World War II.
