Thomas Nevins was born July 1, 1927 to Herman and Anna May Swim Nevins. He died Jan. 23, 2013 and is buried in Iowa Veterans Cemetery, Adel, IA.

Petty Officer Nevins served with the U.S. Navy in World War II.

Jack Arnold Nichols was born July 10, 1920 to Cleo and Ethel Merle Hammer Nichols. He died July 30, 1943 and is memorialized at the Walls of the Missing, Manila American Cemetery, Taguig City, Philippines.

Capt. Nichols served in World War II with the U.S. Marine Corps MAG 12 VMF-215 “Fighting Corsairs” and was MIA/KIA near Gizo Island in the Solomon Island area. He was awarded the Purple Heart.
