Welburn Morton Pender was born Aug. 7, 1923 to Ray and Grace McCleary Pender. He died July 30, 1945 and is memorialized at the Walls of the Missing, Manila American Cemetery, Taguig City, Philippines.

Petty Officer Pender served in World War II with the U.S. Navy aboard the USS Indianapolis (CA-35) and was lost at sea during the sinking of that vessel. He is also remembered at the USS Indianapolis National Memorial, Indianapolis, IN.

Cleo William Perkins was born Feb. 2, 1916 to Ernest and Ella Robertson Perkins. He died Mar. 18, 2009 and is buried in Ida Grove Cemetery, Ida Grove, IA.

Cleo served with the U.S. Army in World War II.

Clifford Eugene Perkins was born Oct. 7, 1922 to Ernest and Ella Robertson Perkins. He died Dec. 15, 2009 and is buried in New Windsor Cemetery, New Windsor, IL.

Clifford served in World War II with the U.S. Navy and served 4 years in the Medical Corps with the U.S. Marines.

Archer Porterfield was born Oct. 19, 1915 to Ray S. and Dorothy Anne Archer Porterfield. He died Sept. 5, 1958 and is buried in IOOF Cemetery, Woodland, WA.

Chief Petty Officer Porterfield served in World War II with the U.S. Navy, retiring after 20 years of service.
