Paul Leonard Huegerich was born Oct. 13, 1923 to George and Alice Bruening Huegerich. He died June 1987.

Paul served in World War II with the U.S. Naval Air Cadet Corps Special Artificer Devices Division.

Raymond Ellsworth Hughes was born May 28, 1917 to Ozzie B. and Mary Margaret Carter Hughes. He died Oct. 9, 1943/FOD Oct. 10, 1944 and is memorialized at the Tablets of the Missing, Sicily-Rome American Cemetery, Nettuno, Italy and has a cenotaph in Ida Grove Cemetery, Ida Grove, IA.

Petty Officer Hughes served in World War II with the U.S. Navy aboard the USS Buck (DD-420) and was MIA/KIA/FOD when that ship was sunk by a German submarine off the coast of Salerno. He was awarded the Purple Heart.

Earl William Husen was born Nov. 12, 1926 to Gus and Katie Erbs Husen. He died July 11, 1999 and is buried in Saint Margaret Cemetery, Orleans, IA.

Earl served in World War II with the U.S. Army.
