Sgt. Browning served in World War II with the U.S. Army 3rd Battalion, 22nd Infantry Regiment, 4th Infantry Division.

Glenn Paul Buter was born Dec. 26, 1926 to Henry and Elsie Margaret Weber Buter. He died Dec. 29, 1947 and is buried in Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Dunlap, IA.

Petty Officer Buter served in World War II with the U.S. Navy Helicopter Development Squadron 3 aboard the USS Midway (CNB-41) and died in the crash of a naval helicopter in Naples, Italy.
