Gerald Enoch “Jerry” Faber was born Oct. 11, 1920 to Enoch W. and Florence E. Baughman Faber. He died Oct. 15, 2013 and is buried in Iowa Veterans Cemetery, Adel, IA.

Petty Officer Faber served in World War II with the U.S. Navy. He was a Pearl Harbor survivor—USS Solace (AH-5). He also served aboard the USS Vincennes, USS Rigel and USS ABSD-3.

Elmer Joseph Feeley was born Apr. 7, 1904 to Thomas Joseph and Mabel Kadolph Feeley. He died July 7, 1998 and is buried in Union Cemetery, Union, IA.

Elmer served in World War II with the U.S. Navy Seabees.

Robert W. Folks was born Sept. 14, 1923 to William Charles and Emily Crocker Folks. He died June 15, 1944 and is buried in Union Cemetery, Iowa Falls, IA. He was initially buried in 2nd Marine Division Cemetery on Saipan and returned to the U.S. in 1950.

Pvt. Folks served in World War II with the U.S. Marine Corps and participated in combat operations on Saipan until KIA.
