Floyd Leon Jacobs was born Mar. 31, 1912 to James Franklin and Lucy Belle Van Ness Jacobs. He died Jan. 25, 1989 and is buried in Lucerne Valley Memorial Park, San Bernardino, CA.

Floyd served with the U.S. Navy Seabees and Amphibian Forces in World War II.

Arthur Maynard Jacobson was born Jan. 17, 1916 to Albert and Martha Teig Jacobson. He died July 13, 1971 and is buried in Saint Pauls Church Cemetery, Jewell, IA.

Petty Officer Jacobson served in World War II with the U.S. Navy.

Louis M. Jacobson, Jr., 94, passed away July 24, 2016 in Aurora, Colorado. Burial will be at the Evergreen Cemetery in Jewell.

Louis was the son of Dr. Louis M. Jacobson, Sr. and Marguerite J. (Nelson) Jacobson, born on July 18, 1922. He attended the Jewell Public Schools, graduating in May of 1940. He served four years in the United States Navy, after which he graduated from the University of Denver. He was a teacher in Aurora, Colorado and Bellevue, Nebraska school systems.

He was a member of Augustana Lutheran Church in Denver, Colorado, the National Education Society and the Jewell American Legion. He was preceded in death by his parents, and many cousins.

Soderstrum Reimers Funeral Home in Jewell is assisting the family with arrangements.

Oswald John “Ossie” Jacobson as born Oct. 21, 1919 to Lawrence A. and Oswald Jacobson. He died Sept. 18, 2008 and is buried in North Memory Gardens, Iowa Falls, IA. 

Petty Officer Jacobson served with the U.S. Coast Guard in World War II.

Stanton Howard Jacobson was born July 17, 1913 to Jacob S. and Anna Malinda Larson Jacobson. He died Aug. 17, 1987 and is buried in Mount Olive Cemetery, Randall, IA.

Stanton served in World War II with the U.S. Army 1154th AACS Squadron in Curacao Island, Netherlands and the Antilles.

Wendell Gustav Jacobson was born July 21, 1906 to Ole and Martha Sundquist Jacobson. He died Nov. 11, 1980 and is buried in Orchard Mesa Cemetery, Grand Junction, CO. 

Pvt. Jacobson served with the U.S. Army in World War II.

Donald Dean Johnson was born Oct. 26, 1924 to Carl Franklin and Ella Catherine Thompson Johnson. He died Oct. 29, 2021 and is buried in Graceland Cemetery, Webster City, IA. Donald served in World War II with the U.S. Navy aboard the USS Solace (APH-15).
