Cpl. Akins served in World War II with the U.S. Army 34th Construction Battalion. He also served in Korea.

Robert Austin Alexander was born May 5, 1918 to Austin H. and Palma Henrietta Hendrickson Alexander. He died Oct. 30, 2008 and is buried in Resthaven Cemetery, West Des Moines, IA.

Robert served in World War II with the U.S. Marine Corps as a pilot.


Douglas Wayne Algoe was born Jan. 1, 1921 to James B. and Susie Goehring Algoe. He died Mar. 20, 2006 and is buried in Graceland Cemetery, Webster City, IA.

Douglas served in World War II with the U.S. Marine Corps.
