Lloyd Elmer “Doc" Walker II was born Dec. 15, 1922 to Lloyd Elmer and Elsie Viola Cowley Walker. He died Jan. 25, 2015 and is buried in Iowa Veterans Cemetery, Adel, IA.

Sgt. Walker served with the U.S. Army in World War II.

Paul Alan Walker was born Mar. 18, 1924 to Lloyd E. and Elsie V. Cowley Walker. He died Apr. 27, 2006 and is buried in Iowa Veterans Cemetery, Adel, IA.

Flight Officer Walker served with the U.S. Army Air Corps Eighty Air Force in World War II.

William Boyd Walker was born Apr. 14, 1919 to Stanley E. and Dorothy M. Boyd Walker. He died Aug. 24, 1944 and is buried in Ardennes American Cemetery, Neupre, Belgium. 

Sgt. Walker served in World War II with the U.S. Army Air Corps as a Gunner with the 780th Bomber Squadron, 465th Bomber Group, Heavy B-24H #42-78538. He was KIA and awarded the Air Medal with 2 Oak Leaf Clusters.

Clyde Homer Ware was born July 31, 1915 to Charles Henry and Susan Emma Hess Ware. He died Dec. 24, 1989 and is buried in Rose Hill Cemetery, Grundy Center, IA.

Clyde served with the U.S. Navy in World War II.

John Paul Wilkens was born May 23, 1918 to Adolf Johannes and Gretchen Elizabeth “Beth” Hickins Wilkens .He died May 6, 1942 and is memorialized at the Walls of the Missing, Manila American Cemetery, Taguig City, Philippines and in Reinbeck Cemetery, Reinbeck, IA.

Coxswain Wilkens served in World War II with the U.S. Navy aboard the USS Canopus (AS-9) and was MIA/KIA and awarded the Purple Heart.
