Robert Russell Ray was born May 27, 1917 to Dwight L. and Leota L. Meyers Ray. He died Sept. 14, 2000 and is buried in Conrad Cemetery, Conrad, IA.

Robert served with the U.S. Army in World War II.

Herman Robertus Rewerts was born Mar. 3, 1917 to Ibeling and Taalke Aswegen Rewerts. He died Apr. 14, 1945 and is buried in Netherlands American Cemetery, Margraten, Netherlands. 

Sgt. Rewerts served in World War II with the U.S. Army 33rd Armored Regiment, 3rd Armored Division. He was KIA and awarded the Purple Heart.

Doyle David Rhine was born Dec. 15, 1917 to David S. and Phyllis B. Rhine. He died May 23, 1971 and is buried in Riverside Cemetery, Marshalltown, IA.

Doyle served in World War II with the U.S. Army 3265th Ordnance Company.

Lester Verne Robinson, Jr. was born Feb. 28, 1918 to Lester Verne and Emma Isabell Cooper Robinson. He died Dec. 18, 1944 and is memorialized at the Walls of the Missing, Manila American Cemetery, Taguig City, Philippines and has a cenotaph in Reinbeck Cemetery, Grundy County, IA.

LTJG Robinson served in World War II with the U.S. Navy aboard the USS Spence (DD-557) and was MIA/KIA when that vessel went down in a typhoon.
