Donald W. Fulmer was born Apr. 24, 1917 to Samuel and Mary Bernice Hull Earl. He died Mar. 27, 1984 and is buried in Fort Logan National Cemetery, Denver, CO.

Cpl. Fulmer served in World War II with the U.S. Army 31st Infantry Regiment on Bataan, Philippine Islands. He was a survivor of the Bataan Death March and became a Japanese POW for 41 months. He was awarded two Unit Commendations with Oak Leaf Clusters.
