Wayne Franklin Carner was born Aug. 31, 1914 to William Thomas and Mina Branon Hutchens Carner. He died Jan. 8, 1945 and is buried in Luxembourg American Cemetery and Memorial, Hamm, Luxembourg. He was first buried at Temporary American Military Cemetery, Grand Failly, France. 

Pvt. Carner served in World War II with the U.S. Army 194th Glider Infantry, 17th Airborne Division. He died of wounds received near Flamierge, Belgium and was awarded the Bronze Star and Purple Heart.

Lyle William Crook was born Feb. 11, 1913 to Frank J. and Esther Louise Leider Crook. He died Aug. 28, 1944 and is buried in Rhone American Cemetery, Draguignan, France.

1st Lt. Crook served in World War II with the U.S. Army 141st Infantry Regiment, 36th Infantry Division and was awarded the Purple Heart and Silver Star.

Robert Deloss Culver was born May 23, 1925 to Arthur and Elizabeth Knapp Culver. He died June 15, 1944 and is buried in Hillside Cemetery, Sheffield, IA.

Robert served in World War II with the U.S. Navy.
