Leander Michael “Mick” Rausch was born Aug. 9, 1922 to John and Anna C. Glaser Rausch. He died Feb. 11, 1997 and is buried in Calvary Cemetery, Charles City, IA.
Mick served in World War II with the U.S. Navy aboard the USS Fred T. Berry (DD-858) and in Guantanamo Bay, Cuba.
