Charles Hermann Lichtsinn was born Apr. 5, 1918 to Herman W. and Teukea Dewitt Lichtsinn. He died Apr. 27, 1943 and is buried in Riverside Cemetery, Rockford, IA.

Charles served in World War II with the U.S. Army 48th Armored Regiment and died at Camp Chaffee, Arkansas in the line of duty.

Leo John Lidd, Jr. was born Sept. 4 , 1921 to Leo J. (Sr.) and Mary Theresa Foley Lidd. He died July 19, 2011 and is buried in Calvary Cemetery, Charles City, IA.

Leo served in World War II with the U.S. Navy aboard the USS Tinsman (DE-589).
