Lyle Edwin Galliart was born Dec. 5, 1925 to Clarence and Cathryn C. Humke Galliart. He died Mar. 9, 1945 and is buried in Ardennes American Cemetery, Neupre, Belgium.

Sgt. Galliart served in World War II with the U.S. Army 311th Infantry Regiment, 78th Infantry Division and was MIA/KIA in Germany and was awarded the Bronze Star and Purple Heart.

Clarence F. Gaul was born Dec. 8, 1919 to Peter and Angeline Oberbroeckling Gaul. He died May 31, 1945 and is buried in Saint Paul Cemetery, Worthington, IA.

Pvt. Gaul served in World War II with the U.S. Army Co. D, 126th Infantry Regiment, 32nd Infantry Division and died on Luzon, Philippine Islands in the service of his country.

Fred Frank Gielissen was born Dec. 30, 1922 to Fred and Theresa Mary Sonnemans Gielissen. He died Dec. 20, 1943 and is buried in Rock Island National Cemetery, Rock Island, IL.

Pvt. Gielissen served in World War II with the U.S. Army Air Corps and was MIA/KIA in the Asiatic area.

John Earl Graham was born Feb. 4, 1918 to Earl and Hanna Graff Graham. He died Feb. 20, 1944 and is memorialized at the Courts of the Missing, Court 8, Honolulu Memorial, Honolulu, Hawaii.

Ensign Graham served in World War II with the U.S. Naval Air Corps and died in the Pacific area while serving his country.

Frank R. Griffith was born Sept. 21, 1921 to Frank E. and Kathryn Roach Griffith. He died Mar. 6, 1945 and is buried in Mount Olivet Cemetery, Key West, IA.

Pvt. Griffith served in World War II with the U.S. Army Troop B, 15th Cavalry Reconnaissance Squadron and was KIA in the service of his country.

Glenn Kenneth Gronau was born Aug. 24, 1923 to Charles Frederick and Zada Izora Tomkins Gronau. He died June 28, 1944 and is buried in National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific, Honolulu, Hawaii. 

Cpl. Gronau served in World War II with the U.S. Marine Corps 8th Marines, 2nd Marine Division. He was awarded the Purple Heart.

Harold George “Bud" Gronau was born Apr. 4, 1918 to George Frederick and Anna Marie Robinson Gronau. He died Feb. 19, 1942 (At Sea) FOD Feb. 20, 1943. He is memorialized at the Walls of the Missing, Manila American Cemetery, Taguig City, Philippines. 

Petty Officer Gronau served in World War II with the U.S. Navy aboard the USS Peary (DD-226) and was MIA when that vessel was sunk in the port of Darwin, Australia. He was awarded the Purple Heart, Combat Action Ribbon, American Defense Service Medal w/Fleet Clasp (bronze star in lieu of clasp), Asiatic-Pacific Campaign Medal w/Fleet Clasp and two bronze stars (one bronze star in lieu of clasp), U.S. Army Presidential Unit Citation, Philippine Presidential Unit Citation, Philippine Defense Medal with a bronze service star and the WWII Victory Medal.

John Harold Gruber was born Jan. 29, 1915. He died Sept. 6, 1944 and is buried in Epinal American Cemetery, Dinoze, France.

Pvt. Gruber served in World War II with the U.S. Army 38th Infantry Battalion, 7th Armored Division and was KIA in the service of his country in France and was awarded the Purple Heart.

Alfred J. Grutz was born Feb. 6, 1917 to William S. and Anna Birkel Grutz. He died May 13, 1944 and is buried in Mount Calvary Cemetery, Dubuque, IA.

Sgt. Grutz served in World War Ii with the U.S. Army Field Artillery and was KIA on the Anzio beachhead in Italy.
