Richard Anthony Kearns was born Jan. 20, 1926 to Michael A. and Carrie K. Limeback Kearns. He died July 9, 2003 and has a cenotaph in Maryland Veterans Cemetery - Rocky Gap, Flintstone, MD.

Petty Officer Kearns served in World War II with the U.S. Navy.

Merle Lynn Kelly was born Apr. 6, 1918 to Harry B. and Ina Maude Mekemson Kelly. He died Jan. 9, 2004 and is buried in Aspen Grove Cemetery, Burlington, IA.

Merle served in World War II with the U.S. Army Infantry.

Millard B. Kirk AKA Millard B. Kirkenslager was born June 8, 1918 to William and Bertie Mae Tucker Kirkenslager/Kirk. He died June 23, 1944 and is buried in Hillcrest Memorial Park Cemetery, Fort Madison, IA.

Sgt. Kirk served in World War II with the U.S. Army Cavalry and was killed in France as the result of the explosion of a hand grenade.

Francis Joseph John “Frank” Koehler was born Apr. 9, 1913 to Edward and Anna Krestin Koehler. He died Mar. 6, 1992 and is buried in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Burlington, IA.

Petty Officer Koehler served in World War II with the U.S. Navy aboard the USS Brooks (DD-232), YMS-103, and USS Preston (DD-795).

Loren Howard Koenig was born July 26, 1922 to John O. and Hazel D. Hippe Koenig. He died Oct. 20, 1994 and is buried in National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona, Phoenix, AZ.

Cpl. Koenig served in World War II with the U.S. Army Air Corps 382nd Bomb Group, 2nd Air Force and 388th Bomb Group, 8th Air Force.

John Henry Kratz, Jr. was born in 1916 John Henry (Sr.) and Anna M. Krueger Kratz. He died Oct. 24, 1944 and is memorialized at the Walls of the Missing, Manila American Cemetery, Taguig City, Philippines

Pvt. Kratz served in World War II with the U.S. Army Coast Artillery Corps, 59th Coast Artillery Regiment, Harbor Defense of Manila and Subic Bay and became a POW and died as a POW in the sinking of the Arisan Maru.

Christian Frederick Krauter was born July 18, 1915 to Jacob J. and Matilda Keim Krauter. He died Jan. 6, 2004 and is buried in Zion Mennonite Cemetery, Donnellson, IA.

Cpl. Krauter served in World War II with the U.S. Army 113th Cavalry Reconnaissance Squadron.
