Don Ivor Francis was born Sept. 15, 1918 to William Leroy and Marie Almeda Rogers Francis. He died May 5, 1943 and is buried in Bloomfield IOOF Cemetery, Bloomfield, IA.

Don served in World War II with the U.S. Army Air Corps in World War II.

Robert Warren Fry was born Jan. 11, 1920 to Roy and Ida May Fultz Fry. He died Aug. 9, 1942 and is memorialized at the Walls of the Missing, Manila American Cemetery, Taguig City, Philippines.

Petty Officer Fry served in World War II with the U.S. Navy aboard the USS Vincennes (CA-44) and was MIA/FOD/KIA when that ship was sunk in the Battle of Savo Island. He was awarded the Purple Heart.
