Sgt. Taber served with the U.S. Army in World War II.

Robert Stanley Taft was born Mar. 12, 1915 to James O. and Gertrude Watson Taft. He died Oct. 17, 1973 and is buried in Iowa Veterans Cemetery, Adel, IA.

Lt. Taft served in World War II with the U.S. Navy. He was awarded the Distinguished Service Cross and Bronze Star.

Leon Edward Thompson was born Nov. 7, 1918 to Charles and Dora L. Walters Thompson. He died July 9, 2003 and is buried in Dexter Cemetery, Dexter, IA.

Leon served with the U.S. Army in World War II.

Merlyn Lyle Thompson was born Jan. 20, 1922 to Charles and Dora L. Thompson. He died Aug.8, 1942 and is memorialized at the Walls of the Missing, Manila American Cemetery, Taguig City, Philippines.

Pvt. Thompson served in World War II with the U.S. Marine Corps Company M, Third Battalion, 2nd Marines, 1st Marine Division and was MIA/KIA at Gavutu, British Solomon Islands when an aerial bomb hit his position. His body was not recovered. He was awarded the Purple Heart.

Harold Joseph Tietjen was born Dec. 7, 1915 to Richard and Marie Ahrens Tietjen. He died June 1, 1944.

Pvt. Tietjen served with the U.S. Army in World War II and was KIA in Italy and awarded the Purple Heart.

Leo F. Twaroski was born July 25, 1921 to Walter and Bogole Twaroski. He died Oct. 26, 2013 and is buried in Iowa Veterans Cemetery, Adel, IA. Sgt. Twaroski served with the U.S. Army in World War II and was awarded five overseas service bars, 1 service stripe, American Defense ribbon, Asiatic-Pacific Theater ribbon, Good Conduct Medal and WWII Victory medal.
