Louis Lawrence Longman was born Jan. 23, 1918 to George F. and Ellen T. Cleary Longman. He died Apr. 16, 1944 and is buried in Sacred Heart Catholic Cemetery, Murdock, MN. He is also memorialized at the Walls of the Missing, Manila American Cemetery, Taguig City, Philippines.

* A memorial service was held at Rock Island National Cemetery in Rock Island, IL to honor Louis on Apr. 12, 2014. A military burial marker commemorating him was placed at the Rock Island cemetery. 1st Lt. Longman served with the U.S. Army Air Corps 433rd Fighter Squadron, 475th Fighter Group and was MIA and awarded the Air Medal with Oak Leaf Cluster and Purple Heart. *His remains were recovered and identified and a rosette placed next to his name on the Wall of the Missing to mark that the person now rests in a known gravesite.  ~Source: abmc.gov

Richard Thomas Longman was born June 11, 1916 to George F. and Ellen T. Cleary Longman. He died July 19, 2010 and is buried in Houston National Cemetery, Houston, TX.

1st Lt. Longman served in World War II with the U.S. Army Air Corps and became a POW. He also served in Korea.

Robert Henry Luett was born Dec. 16, 1921 to Lewis and Amanda Lisetta Mohr Luett. He died July 22, 1945 and is buried in Buckhorn Waterford Cemetery, Buckhorn, IA.

Petty Officer Luett served in World War II with the U.S. Navy aboard the USS Marathon (APA-200) which was attacked by a kaiten (one-man suicide Japanese submarine) causing a violent explosion and extensive damage. He died in the service of his country.
